David E Want’s to know:

I have a new wood 2 "faux; accechi that I installed. When the shooting string to tilt down, I find that the slats of the upper ending strongly (touching the cue above and below the cue), however the slats are close to the bottom, though inclined not close tightly, allowing the light through. Any ideas why? Lascilo know what further Info you need and give.

  1. reverse them a couple of times, usually they stick in a position and opening and closing will unstick them.

  2. If what PATRICA MS mentioned doesn’t work try to raise and lower them a few times then open and close a few times while the blinds are in the fully lowered position(beyond the window sill if need be). When new they drag a bit because they’ve been in the compressed state.

Make sure there not getting caught on the window or it’s frame

If these attempts don’t seem to correct the problem you will need to take them back for a replacement.Trying to mess with the mechanics inside the top part is a pain and usually doesn’t do anything but frustrate you.

  3. If NONE of the above fix your problem, ther may be too many slats for that size window. It’s easy to pop the buttons out on the bottom of the trapazoid bar (Bottom bar), remove a slat and put back together. (Word to the wise, is NOT to cut any ladders until you know you have the right length)
