Hello, I have a great roomand that the kitchen and family kitchen has cherry cabinets. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances + black There is also a huge window in the family room. My question is 1) Should the color of the blind to the window of room window and family cooking be the same because all are in the same space continuously? 2) The white or cherry seems better in the kitchen? If the cherry is fine, and then must match exactly with the stain of cherry dell'armadietto? The walls are painted color dell'avorio bone by Benjamin Moore. 2) In the family room, the blind wood, faux color of cherry would seem better or white? The walls are painted a neutral color (white bone of moore Benjamin). Draft have mainly black leather furniture in the room of family and accessories would be orange and red + ingiallirebbero. White also look that contrasts for this space? Thanks for your answers in advance!

  1. I would do the cherry in both. It would look great with the cherry cabinets as well as with the black leather in the fam room.
    You’re giving me ideas!

  2. With an open floor plan, having uniform window treatments is best.

As for the color, here are some kitchen makeovers that HGTV did with cherry cabinets. In this one, although it’s not a great shot, you can tell that the blinds match the cabinets pretty well & look great. I like it with the white trim around it:

These two use a light colored roman shade, which looks better since the windows don’t have any trim around them:

    Hope this helps.
