tracer Want’s to know:
I can not afford to buy new blind to about $ 250 and they need to replace 2 slats that my adorable puppy of shar-pei has decided to make them his chewing toy. The blind are 92 inches wide by 1 / 2. Someone has a pair around don 't want more

Go to either Home Depot, or Lowes. Bargain for great deals! I hope this helps you! And your puppy sounds adorable!

Check blinds.com. I got awesome deals on faux wood blinds for my whole house. Im sure that they would have some replacement parts, and it would probably be cheaper than home depot. They specially order their blinds.

Check out stores that sell used stuff, you may get lucky and find something close, or even something else that you like as much or more. Remember that your shar-pei will bring you much more happiness than the blinds ever could have, great dog, by the way, a friend of mine had one.

Depending on where the damaged slats are on the blind you can undo the bottom hardware and use the slats that are at the bottom of the blind…you know the ones that never get used…they bunch up at the bottom of the blind.

tlw733 has the best idea. I usually don’t go to the trouble of actually undoing everything to replace one however. I use scissors to cut the damaged blind slat through at each of the rope slots and remove it. Then I do the same on one of the extra ones below and insert it in the ladder and then slide the ropes through the slits I made to get it off. I cut the slits at a slight angle to the hole rather than straight to hole. No one can usually tell unless they look closely.
