Gray or White is what I would go with if I had those things, but I have a pink living room at the moment so you probably shouldn’t listen to me.

I would go for an extremely pale cream with a yellowish tint. It might clash slightly with the silver carpet. If you want to be safe choose a matt white.

I would go with a black and red rug and keep the walls pretty neutral. My parents have the same colors and have painted the walls red with a gold(ish) trim and it’s beautiful but the room is REALLY big and has lots of REALLY big windows in it. I’m just saying it’s an option but if the room is too small, red walls may be overwhelming.

Id paint the walls a shade of gray thats slightly lighter than the carpet.

Coordinate with the carpet with a blue/gray - like “flint smoke” by Behr. It will make the red firniture really stand out beautifully.
