Currently I reticolari solar panels on my slider I love the kitchen, but on outbreaks of the sun right through, so I have to replace it. I have blind wooden real horizonal on my other window of the kitchen, so thought I could try to continue to look at the cursor. The real wood is right outside (), don 't want a heavy tent and don' t like flat or vertical shaped. The know won 't to resemble real wood, which is fine, but just don' t want to seem so inexpensive and ugly. I can find only a thin PVC color of the wood grain w / tea, but I wanted to find a composite material more often. I Googled it, but the very small samples arent 'go be of much help w / getting the full picture. We use that door a lot, so must slide through, not roll over. Any ideas? Yes, I also thought to avévano vertical tissue in a dark colour, but they were worried could sbiadirsi

  1. I used verticals in my kitchen sliding door for many rears, I tired of them and eventually made curtains hung by metal rings for easy slide. They keep the hot sun out, and in the winter insulates the door very nicely. I also have (horizontal) wood blinds other windpows, they are beautiful, but very heavy when I need to draw them up to open a window. I imagine wood verticals w/b really heavy to move. If I had only 2-choices wood verticals or fabric verticals, I would pick the later. Much easier to operate. Go for a good brand.

  2. I don’t know where you are but places like Kent Building Supplies, Home Depot and Lowe’s (in Canada) carry 2″ faux wood blinds that have the wood grain. They come in white, light wood, cherry and a dark brown colour. They are much better in kitchens and bathrooms than real wood because of the steam. These stores will even custom cut widths to your soecifications at no charge. You just remove slats to give you the appropriate length.

  3. How about a traverse rod with drapes. The drapes really keep the hot or cold out, and you they easily open or close. I use mine and i love it.
