Have to pick sliding glass doors treatments - Curtains or Vertical Blinds?

For all other windows in my new home, I ordered 2 "blind horizontal faux wood in a color of coconut (a po'fuori white) that matches my walls / disposal / kitchen cabinets and appliances. I have to decide treatment for my doors sliding glass room family and bedroom matrix. I 'm the has tried to go with a tent to give some color to the room, but all are saying to the vertical inside with the same color of coconut. Anyone else had to take this decision?
