Is there a blackout panel that can be put behind a faux blind?

Is there a panel that can be put behind the blind, faux that doesn 't seem terrible? I have ordered the blind, faux wood but still left too much heat inside.

Why not just get some black materail at a fabric store and hang it in the window like a curain; behind the blind?

sure. you can get them as those roller type shades, either fabric which is serious blackout, or there is a very dark plastic that cuts the light but you can still see through, sorta. depending on where you got your blinds, they may be a source for these shades.
