How can I remove faux wood blinds?

My dog broke the string that holds today my blind wood, faux of Envirowood. I can 't calculates out how to take the damned thing down! It 's over a very small window (10 3 / 4 "by 71") and I' m fearful aggrovigliata could get it before anyone could come do the repair / sostituissi. Anyone who has experience of this?
