		<description>It really depends on your family enviroment.  If you have an active family with children I would definately go with the faux wood since they are pretty sturdy.  Since a living area tends to get less use and normally is more formal you could use either.  I prefer to have similar window treatments throughout the house, but the choice is yours, just think what will be more functional.  You can put a decorator touch with drapes, window scarves, and valances.  Good luck!</description>
