What sense seems window or assembling the most pleasant exterior and interior. not sure about mounting internal perfer that, but afraid the wrong measurement. Thanks for the info, have not ever thought them the best inner part of attachment. He meant me, I always made them hang outside and I was a disorder to deal with certainly

  1. If you have 2 inches inside the window to put the blind it looks best. Otherwise it won’t hang straight.

  2. Inside mounting looks so much better. If you are afraid to do this yourself get a handyman. They usually only charge you 20 or 30 an hour and it should not take them long.

Seriously, you will regret it if you do it on the outside of the window :-)

  3. I have these blinds inside the windows & am very happy w/ the way they look. If you are going to put curtains or drapes, they also look better inside.

  4. Hi daffy. I think most prefer inside mount. It is a little cleaner looking than an outside mount application. I think those who mount on the outside do it because of lack of depth. For most faux wood blinds you will need 3″ of depth to have a fully recessed fit. However you only need 1 1/2″ of depth to do a minimum inside mount. This just means it will stick out into the room a little. This actually is very common due to the new windows like Pella and Anderson which have very little depth to mount. I will provide a link below to the best measuring methods. I hope this helps. Have a great day.

    Regards,
